January Employee Training Update

Ernesto Lozano recently successfully completed a Plan Reading Class at Virginia Western Community College and is scheduled to start at surveying class in the spring of 2016. Assisting and encouraging our employee in their personal and professional development is part of the guiding principles Procon lives by!

On December 7-10, finishers Kevin Thomas and Jon Snyder travelled to Wisconsin to complete an American Concrete Institute Certified Flatwork Technician and Certified Flatwork Finisher class. Both of these hard working young men were successful in these classes and are now both ACI Certified Flatwork Finishers! Congratulations, guys!

For the past 8 weeks, culminating on January 11, 2016, Cesar Alonso Lozano Torres attended the Dale Carnegie Human Relations course in Roanoke, VA. During week 7 of this course, Alonso earned and was presented the Breakthrough Award, in which he was recognized by his classmates for having a moment when he “broke through” and accomplished a new goal. We are excited to see where the skills Alonso learned in the class will take him!
